Un premier EP en 2018, un album rouge abrasif en 2019, deux tournées dans l’Hexagone, LANE, en à peine deux ans s’est révélé incontournable. Le groupe aux 3 guitares emmené par Pierre-Yves, Camille, Etienne, Félix et Eric a remis les pendules à l’heure et Angers sur la carte du rock. Laissons de côté le passé des protagonistes (Les Thugs, Daria…) : LANE est avant tout un groupe neuf dont l’urgence est de saisir le présent.

Enregistré en dix jours par Michel Toledo (The Psychotic Monks, Lysistrata, etc.) au studio Véga à Carpentras, sur une des mythiques consoles EMI analogiques, ce second opus nous emporte plus loin au cœur de LANE. Avec ses 13 titres (2 LP en version vinyle), Pictures of a Century est une collection de vignettes plus réalistes encore du siècle en cours. Profond comme une forêt dense électrisée par un courant d’émotions : désillusions magnifiques, espoirs intacts, accélération, paysages surgissants, temps qui s’efface, amour… LANE nous rappelle à son acronyme Love And Noise Experiment !

A first EP in 2018, an abrasive red album in 2019, two tours in France, LANE, in just two years proved to be essential. The group with 3 guitars led by Pierre-Yves, Camille, Etienne, Félix and Eric set the record straight and Angers/France on the rock map. Let’s leave aside the protagonists’ past (Les Thugs, Daria…): LANE is above all a new group whose urgency is to seize the present.

Recorded in ten days by Michel Toledo (The Psychotic Monks, Lysistrata, etc.) at the Véga studio in Carpentras, on one of the legendary analog EMI consoles, this second opus takes us further to the heart of LANE. With its 13 titles (2 LPs in vinyl version), Pictures of a Century is a collection of still more realistic vignettes of the current century. Deep as a dense forest electrified by a power of emotions: magnificent disillusions, intact hopes, acceleration, rising landscapes, fading time, love... LANE reminds us by its acronym Love And Noise Experiment!
